MEET OUR SENIOR CAPTAINS
JACKSON LANE
A Grade Captain
Jackson is a local legend, having grown up playing cricket at Mount Barker for many years. Although he is only in his early 20's, many will not remember a time when Jacko was not opening the batting for our top side. The former premiership captain of our A2 Grade team Jackson takes back the mantle as our A-grade skipper for the 2020/21 season.
SIMON TURK
A Grade Vice-Captain
A relative newcomer to the club but a stalwart of the game, Simon steps up to the role of A-Grade Vice-Captain to provide assistance to our young Burras side. Handy with the bat, the ball and in the field, Simon is a leader in all facets of the game.
CHRIS PULFORD
B Grade Captain
A former A Grade Captain for Mount Barker, Chris now leads our second Senior side. He will tell everyone he can't play at the top level any more but his tactics, game plans and dedication are second to none. Oh, and hes pretty handy with the bat, ball and his fielding is inspirational. Chris's passion is now seeing his young team mates develop and progress into the top side.
BRAD HORSELL
B Grade Vice-Captain
Brad is not only our senior coach, he is also part of the B Grade leadership team. A player with a wealth of experience and even more ability, he has so much to give to the younger players on the team. After scoring over 1000 runs in his first season for the Burras, we can't wait to see what is to come.
