MEET OUR COACHING TEAM

BRAD HORSELL

Head Senior Coach

Brad brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the club as our Head Coach. After 5 years out of the game, he joined Mount Barker at the start of the 2019/20 Season, amassing over 1000 runs in the B Grade, including several 100's. Not to mention, he is also pretty handy with the gloves, ball and even took on the captaincy a few times throughout the season.

Prior to joining the Burras Brad's CV included winning the A2 Adelaide Turf Cricketer of the Year and scoring a ton (100) in the SA Country Carnival. Many years of Brad's cricketing career has been spent playing at a high level and is now sharing the knowledge he has gained with Mount Barker.

JUSTIN ROBERTS

Under 14 & 10s Coach

Not only is Justin our Junior Coordinator, he also coaches the oldest of our Junior sides. He brings many years of mentoring and coaching experience Mount Barker, having been involved with numerous sports.

Justin takes the development of young players and his own coaching ability very seriously, with ambition to keep learning new ways of getting the best from players. We are excited to see what Justin can offer as we step back into the Under 16's competition.

ADAM CRICKMAR

Under 12s Coach

Adam has been a truly valued member of the Mount Barker Cricket Club, coaching and assisting on game days for a number of years. Although we have not yet been able to snag him a gig on the committee yet, he has certainly been a handy volunteer to have around!

He works closely with our rising stars, developing talent from a young age. With kids progressing through the Under 10's and now Under 12's, we have seen Adam provide some vital team management roles. We hope to see Adam's coaching role develop for many years to come.
